did my first downwinder yesterday...
not very far, maybe 500-600 m to get to a surf break... with a stiff breeze befind us, 15-20knts but very flat....
ahhhhh the serenity....so easy , every paddle stroke was bliss, steering with the rails and nice relaxed speed...UNREAL. this is so cool... i want this breeze behind me all the time.......
then we had to turn back
