saw these guy at the alley on a 9' ish nsp doing dogman style hacks and casso style floaters along with paddle usage. had a bit of a chat, he has had the board for 3 weeks as an entry level board. told him he should go back to greenline and upgrade as he is far better then that( and thats not deriding the nsp). so spill the beans who ever you are- find it hard to believe to be at that level just doing 3 weeks supping- give us the background
cheers

The new NSP is 10' by 29" with a thinner tail the rest of the fleet, It is a great surf model as you witnessed at the Alley

You can certainly see the men from a shortboarding background, you get on the big plank and feel like you couldnt fall off if you tried

it's been those section-ey type waves that just invite sliding floater's.everyones been getting plenty of practice. what i would like to do is catch a left at the end of a session and punt over the breakwall straight onto a wave in the creek mouth ride over to the carpark and flip the board straight onto my shoulder having already undone the leggie on the way over with a groupie getting a coopers pale out of the icebox as i get to the car

Okay - just my 2 cents worth on this one. If this guy is ripping and having a blast out there and sounds like he is THEN HE IS ON THE RIGHT BOARD FOR HIM AT THE MOMENT !! Why the hell do we wanna fix what aint broken FFS ?

So this guy was ripping, and he was on a sup. Was he proud, when he walked the beach in front of his fellow locals. It is still hard for people to take it serious. We all ride the same waves, albeit short boarders when it's on and kite surfers when it's windy and the real surfers when it's pumping! Love all ocean folk!
