snapped my epoxy(EPS) stick last week and trying to get it back on the water ASAP.....

stuck it together with qcell last night and got the bottom nice and ready for the cloth today but when i flipped it over i found out the qcell had melted the foam around it ......

everything is nicely aligned so wondering if i can just get some pour foam in there or if this will also melt the EPS, or if it might be better to hollow it out and stick more EPS in there(not what i want to do.... then how do i secure it without melting it?)......

would the melting not have happened if the epoxy wasn't already going off in the pot?(took a while to get the qcell to mix in in my overfilled cup).

On Gumtree i was amazed at just how many people are advertising to do board repairs. Id get someone to look at it

i've know faster curing epoxy to do this- a volume upped batch to fill your board might have generated heat. have you tried a slower curing type of epoxy

Yep .... and there's plenty of options in the for sale section in here for one example if you want to save pennies , it could go again at any time , keep her as a backup board or make a coffee table out of her

Yep..Expanda Foam..able to fill many a crevice..
