Made wose by the fact that the sayer was from Caringhbah
It's not in the dictionary, but I vaguely recall that the noise made when a scab falls off a festering arsehole and hits the gound it's commonly refered to as a "Caringhbah", but I could be mistaken.
I also found this. "Among the artists who defined what is known as the Chicano art movement in L.A. is a painter who goes by the name Gronk." I think he called you an American-born Mexican artist. That's nice.
