Al G said..Ob,the first pic you put up is a 1950 Buick Woody(rare) that has been customised, not a sedanette, sorry MR

Yep the next one is a 39 Chevy Sedan

You could be right Al, but we'll never actually know. Having edited the Buick Club of NSW magazine for 10 years, I've seen and driven my share of Buicks. There is actually no difference in the whole front clip, or the waist line, but the doors on the custom look more like Sedanette doors than Woody doors. Oh, and the custom is a two door, the Woody was a four door. So unless he did some really tricky cutting and shutting........
The custom job looks like it has a completely new roof and side windows. So it's anyone's guess as to whether the donor car was a Sedanette or a Woody, but my money is still on a Sedanette.
BTW, I have a couple of mates in the club who drive them (Sedanettes), and they're just a peach to drive.... hard to see out of, and harder to park because you can't see any of the corners, but well.... just lovely. One of the guys in the Buick Club has a 39 Chev too, not quite as nice, under powered compared to the Buick, but still fun. He also has a Marquette and a pristine stock standard HR wagon.
Here's a good woody....
