Has anyone used them, if so what do you think compared to a dolphin fin.

McHenry fins are such a personal thing, what one mite like ours load.
Its took me some years to workout what works best for me remember
type of board, size of wave, body weight and how you ride are the telling factors
in selecting the right fin.I'm not a fan of the cutaway type fin but that does not
mean they are crap, length, base give, rack, tip flex and not the mention the foil.
There are so many versions of the dolphin fin out there,so look wrong others nice.

reducing the base via the cutaway lets the fin drift...as to the dolphin with a wide base the feeling is more direct..so it all depends on what feeling you like through the turn....they are fun to experiment with when you have side bites...you can change the size of your side bites...adjusting how much drift works for you

Cutaways are gay.

Real men don't surf them.

Your more than likely to see a cutaway on a mid length
