Hi, I just got my first 44inch Maple/bamboo Bahne longboard last week. Never rode a skateboard before in my life, but inline skate and have done ballet, so my balance isn't terrible. Took a few days of skating and finally had confidence to skate to school on it.

It's too long. It fits in my locker but there's hardly room for anything else lol. I found someone letting go of his 28inch MK Cruiser Maple/bamboo board he's only rode twice for 2/3 of the original price. Wheels look barely touched. The 44inch is pretty used (I got it secondhand to try out longboarding, it's pretty smooth though)

Will the 28inch be as smooth as the 44inch? Should I flip my 44inch and get the 28inch? Or should I save for a different board better for a 1.7km ish daily commute?

Thanks!

Take the swap. The 28 will be your perfect "campus" board.
