That'll never happen. It may get cut and glued but that's it

I pulled this one from another thread STU, I've deleted a few words.

It might only help after you've recovered and got some professional advice but experiment with pulling less weight to reduce the forces on your wrist on each stroke; shorten the back end of your stroke (where you're least efficient) or (gulp) lose some weight (if that is an option).
The first option might mean you have to compensate with a slightly higher stroke rate but I've seen Philipino teams blazing at 120 strokes per minute so there is room to play with it.

Also, if you're bending your wrist when you pull, maybe try strapping up your wrists to train yourself not to do it so much.

Can not believe that you do not have room for one of Macs old boards in that quiver of yours........actually whats your shortboard quiver looking like at the moment? You used to have some nice ones from memory.

ted i've got the 9'4 sic and the 7'4 jp as surf craft. i'm enjoying the 7'4 because most of the 8'6, 8'8 etc have the same kind of turning arc so it can get a bit so so in ordinary waves. the 7'4 is like a buzzbox fish. different arc's and turns = fun.

general day paddling the lahui kai is me. really like them. just gone for a narrower one- 25.5 inches.man it's a weapon. getting glassed now.

i have to wait for a 14' carbon bullet till the end of feb. for those full on days. the wood version is just too heavy

so fingers crossed its looking like a 4 board quiver. 2 race, 2 surf. mind you if a cheap second hand 17'4 bullet comes up well

So does that mean you no longer even have a surfboard short board? That was my question If I lived up near you with those creeks and DW'er orientated people I think I would be all over it like a cheap suit. Loved that pic and comment that Noel posted in the room below - no doubt it would have you frothing as well!
