I'm looking at getting a cheapish longboard. I've been riding the vintage log for a couple of weeks, the board quality seems good but I mainly ride short boards and I wish I could turn off the tail a bit more. I'm looking at the sky walker and the performance log. Can anybody give me advice which board I'd be better off getting.

ex member has had his 10 foot Seaplane for seriously a long time and it is holding up well.

I have 6'10" Fountain of Youth which is two years old and immaculate still. Their minimals have substituted that. So perhaps look at the 7'2" version. My FOY has surfed knee high to triple overhead waves. Now that is versatile.

The Devocean is the one I am talking about.

I expect it will be very good. I would have bought one of them, but we were travelling around Australia and I didn't have room on the roof for anything over 7'. I needed something for the east coast as the three boards I had taken were absolutely useless in those waves. The FOY was awesome.
