Just had an awesome trip away for the weekend, camped and cooked under the stars, and scored really good waves both days. (actually probably one of the best surfs I have had on a longboard,) All with good company to boot. A slice of the good life for sure.

I was so desperate for a wave yesterday I surfed 1 foot wind swell, if you could call it swell

I also had a really great weekend away..... nothing under head height for 2 days.

Yeah the antics play a big part in it staying fun. We now nickname a mate "Smother Hubbard" cos he constantly overloaded the fire which then burnt our sangas

Also had a few "Party Waves" which are all good as long as there is no rail damage Hooting as we pulled into perfect beachies and calling mates into closeouts, its all good stuff.

We got out after the morning glass and cooked bacon and eggs on the beach and watched the surf then had another surf then called it a day totally exhausted and satisfied.
