Am thinking I've found a really good back-up steamer but the legs/arms are a few inches long.
it's a bit long for me but am thinking of cutting the arms + legs a few inches

Has anyone cut the neoprene arms/legs with a sharpe blade with a good result, the ends of all my wetsuits just look like they've been cut with a sharpe blade when manufactured.

I would be using large sharp pair of scissors, if the seams are glued and not sewn I can't see a issue cutting.

Yes Mac that was my thought with a little neoprene glue on the inside seam.

I've done this plenty of times, just cut and leave enough to fold over and sew a hem. I get my step mum to sew them up, takes 5mins with a machine...
