James Squire - Broken Shackles lager...thank **** I people are finally making lager that tastes like lager...in other news I would give my left nut for a case of Swan Draught long necks if anyone needs another ball
On the James Squire Broken Shackles. The local bottle-o had em on special and I thought, these are the ones Tux mentioned, why not give em a crack... the first one's sliding down the old gullet quite quickly.
Verdict: A top drop. Tux knows his boards and his beers.
Yes the old James Is the new generic thirst quencher ...I like them all,the pale ale being a standard drop around here....but I do like trying the weird and wonderful every week
Had a some some feral biggie juice this week because it was 12 buckaroos...always nice

Revising my glowing review of Broken Shackles. Have decided that, like the lovely James Squire Pale Ale, they are great for a couple of heart starters, but not so great for grazing on through the night. so, yeah, have a couple then change up.
Thanks for the tip re Biggie Juice, Chrispy.. have now read up on it :
