i was told jackson close was killing on a sup at the alley today- pulling airs etc.
that reliable source said he is head and shoulders above anyone else in australia.
dam, i would have liked to have seen that, but i'm boardless till the weekend.
i'll always remember seeing jackson ripping a quick moving hollow dbar to pieces on a longboard a couple of years ago. i didn't know who he was back then.
the alley has pulled up out of this swell looking really good. still some great looking sets of waves coming through this afternoon
I've been watching what i can find of JC on LBs and geez he makes it look easy - got a sweet style it's not any wonder to me that he can make a ### howl - it would have been a score to see that lace yes from what you hear a good aussie guy too
As long as he stays over you way , he tends to come over here and clean up in or LB comps , We had NZ 1 Sweeper Shane Baxter turn up in town here last week also very impessive would be good to see he and JC together

I had the pleasure of watching him yesterday - airs / busting fins out / huge re-entries. From behind the rock on set waves, not wide ones.
Asea sitting around after a knee injury, blowing up in size ! Just kidding buddy, we love you, and I love that old McT EvoII of yours! I'll give you a bell and we can compare notes on the board.
