Anyone got photos of Barrow island surf?

Herd its pretty anal there. I know a couple of lads there now, and they said if the gas plant goes ahead you wont be able to leave the compound and camp, they find it pretty hard to get a surf in even now. So I wouldnt be throwing in the towel at your current job just yet

I surfed it heaps.Get to know the Chevron/Monadelphous Boys and you'll be alright to get there.Look out for the coloured rocks on the corners to get there if you get lost.Also out the front of camp can get some good fishing!

I work on Varanus island, (about 10 mins from Barrow), the lads tell me it can get real good sometimes.
A few have brought up their spare boards.
Personally I would think farting without a permit or training course on Barrow would'nt be allowed, let alone surfing; their quite anal over there.
The tasty burd on the x-ray machine busted me for having a small shell in my boardies from when I was free diving..not doubt I'll get a talking too when I'm back at work in a couple fo weeks..
