My partner and I are surfers (me not so good) looking at 7 nights in March. Perfect Wave have quoted us AUD $11,200 for Holiday Inn Kandooma (Beach Villa, meal plan and transfers), but we can book the identical villa direct for around AUD $5,600. Is exclusive access to Kandooma Right and Quarters really worth paying an extra $5,500? If not, where would you stay for luxury accommodation with great surf access? Wanting a fun wave preferably eight hander. Thanks!

Most places in Maldives have a similar arrangement with the wave on their island... You will need to pay for boat transfers to get to the other waves if you don't go for a surf package. You can also check Atoll travel for options...
