thedoor said..Anyone doing 46km deserves a new wing

. I don't have that many sessions on 699 compared to 799, but it's a great wing. Currently it comes out if i am trying to keep up with my mates with freerace foils but still want that freeride control for swells, reaching etc.
Cheers will let her know. What's amazing with foiling is the number of things you can change, foil track location, shim angle, stab size, foil size, sail mast track position. I went windsurfing this morning and was actually happy with the need for fewer decisions ... single powerbox fin (yeah OK you can change the size of that too), bung it in, put base plate in same location I always put it on that board, off I go... :-).
Anwyay, back to foiling, maybe I should try a +ve shim first (reverse SABFoils -ve ones) - cheaper option for more speed (not really needed), less drag, less lift (our ultimate goal in stronger wind) but I understand it makes it looser if you go too far with the +ve shimming.
