Spent the summer ripping on my 103W/872/730PFI and had a blast. Wife needs some ideas for the holidays and it looks like the Phantasm front wings might be in stock soon.

Question: What front wing should Santa bring to compliment my PFI 730, do I even need another wing??? Do I want to go faster?

PTM730? Scary fast?
PTM926? Will it be any more fun?
PTM 1001? Increase my low end? I sold my Moses 1100W because it was too slow and HUGE

What conditions do you foil in, what's your weight, how much foiling experience do you have?

First, thanks for the video review of the 926 -- it looks pretty quick in lightish winds.

My equipment dealer in Toronto has the 1001. He sent me a picture of it beside the Armstrong 1325. Both look very HA and well made. No on the water feedback yet -- I suspect someone at the shop is going to give it a go on the water very soon. The 1001 should be epic for both wind foiling and wing foiling. The 1001 is close to a 9:1 aspect ratio and the Armstrong 1325 is close to 10:1. This would have been considered really radical only 18 months ago, especially for winging. Both foils should be fairly fast with lots of glide and fun to pump.

That's awesome your local guy has the 1001.
I procrastinated a bit on ordering the wing. If you get to try it please let us know

Ride a Wizard V3 130L, got my Jibes dialed this summer.
I found the PFI 730/Wizard combo a bit sticky in lighter winds. My buddies were up and foiling in a few less knots.
Often foil in 18-22knots, would like to be able to get going in 12,13,14 if possible.
After 25knots the PFI730 felt a bit big...maybe I need one smaller and one bigger

For high winds with the Infinity 76 I use a 3.7 metre sail and put the foil mast at the back of the track -- gusty 20 to 30. Another trick (if you're not after a few more knots of speed and don't want to spend some money on smaller foils) is to place a plastic bread tie as a shim under the front of the stab to counter some of the lift of the front wing (you'll probably have to move the foil mast forward some if you use the shim). I'm 5' 11" and 70.5 kilos. I moved away from the Tuttle system over to boards with tracks for more flexible tuning -- made a big difference. For me, in higher winds I shove the mast with the i76 right to the very back of the track to reduce the lift as much as possible (FS 115 board) -- the mast plate actually protrudes just slightly behind the tail of the board!
