I've been foiling since January, firstly on my 137 litre slalom board and now on a 125litre Alien. It's a great board for freeride foiling. My only beef is scrapping the skin off my knees and elbows when climbing on the board to uphaul.

To solve the problem, I've shaped and attached a 5mm Eva mat I bought online from Surfaustralia.com.au

It works a treat

Great idea! How much weight did it add? FWIW, Slingshot has full EVA decks on their boards and I wonder why other brands don't do the same. These boards are meant to be uphauled half the time.

Very little, less than 200gms. The new Fanatic Stingray LTD and JP free foil also have full EVA so they can be also used for winging

I see inboard rear footstrap plugs at your board, great!
I love my Alien 125, but I miss a full deck eva and inner (rear) plugs. And tracks. And a carry handle hole.
The 125 is the only Alien with one plug row. Still in 2022.
