Just bought new 2020 SS Fwind foil (infinity 76 wing) and 2nd hand Naish hover 122, and tried to put it together last night but i am missing some bits

The naish comes with 2 us boxes / tracks, & the foil comes with a pedestal but no nuts or bolts to fix it to the board

Q1. Naish seem to use M6 25mm bolts to join the board...but i think the SS pedestal use M8 25mm...so i need M8 right?
Both i think are 25mm deep

Q2. And can i simply use any Windsurfing (mast foot) brass M8 T-nut (x4)?
These seem a lot cheaper than the Kitefoil ones that look "on paper" the very same thing

Sorry for naive questions...trying to sort this whilst im away with work / online so ready for the weekend!

I use 4x M8 bolts on all my windsurf foils. Bunnings sell a set of grade 304 CSK Torx bolts at 25mm or 35mm long for $1 each. They seem to do the trick for me.

Brass Tnuts work fine. I use Stainless steel TNuts from Foilmount (US).

I had the same problem when I changed over to SS. I got the SS nuts and bolts as supplied and they work fine in my Naish 142,

Nobody can tell what screw length you need. Different boards have different depth tracks. Some work with 25mm. Some foils ship with 28mm long. Some need 30mm screws.

Nuts are the same as windsurf T nuts. Nuts vary a little in fit between foil brands. Try your windsurf T nuts, then YOU need to look and decide length of screws to buy,

Use 8mm

Like jumping a slalom board, crashing a windsurf board, or breaking a boom, there is gray area when it comes time for warrantee replacement.
Naish screws are smaller diameter than SS screws. It can be said that Naish boards, ie boxes, were designed for those screws in mind.
If the box breaks using the stronger SS screws...

The Slingshot brass nuts is up there in price. I'm not sure why.

As pointed out the standard windsurfing mast foot ones can be used, if you can't get the SS ones.
The small M8 bolts is fairly cheap.

BSN101: I'm pretty sure Northy is in the UK (as he mentioned he bought parts there).
For Australia then the release / in stock of 2020 would be towards late September.

Every country would have a different release date depending a quite a few things, (shipping, when order was in, seasonal, container or air shipment, size of order etc)
I assume Europe is super keen to order very early and even get some air shipment in, (besides the normal container shipments) as it is mid season there)

I stripped one of threads on a naish foil boot plate. Got done having to buy pack of 4. $32. Ouch. I guess they base it on "pay a premium" for what should be s $2 part to save you loosing $1200 foil.

Hi Northy. This is a great set up. I used it for over 6 months. For my 67kg I had the footsteps in the forward position, mast base central and the foil all the way back in the track as this foil has more lift than the foil it was designed for. The fuselage was in the B position. Hope this helps.

Thanks a lot Johno - appreciate the insights. Im 87kg - what would that imply in terms of set-up compared to the above..any material difference? (see other thread also!)
