Saw a reel or video on IG featuring a couple of guys on JP gear. One of the boards - very wide - seemed to also have a sharp entry with what looked like heavy vee. Can't now find the video. Has anyone seen or heard of this design?

Looks like mini AC75.
would foils on sides work with windfoiling?

Not JP but some French company called Elix: www.elix-funboard.com/index.php/condor-concept/

Has been out for quite a while, I don't think it is in production. Very unclear what you gain by cutting off 15 cm from the sides of a regular 50 cm long utra-thin front prow. Other than some help sinking the board in a hard landing.

Duzzi is correct. This came out 4-5 years ago maybe? Looks like there was some inspiration from the AC75s. Of course, AC75s can tack without coming off the foil so... www.facebook.com/616040088418393/videos/777880462710607 iirc, others toyed with similar shapes, too, but nothing came of it.
