Hi. 83 kg, just 3 sails, 10 to 20 kn. What do you guys think?

That's a pretty big wing (I've winged on it) so it's a touch slow but pretty lifty. What is your skill level? For that range, I could almost see getting by with two sails - they can be freeride/freestyle/wave even a few years old. 6.0 and 4.7 maybe. I'm a bit smaller so hard to guess exactly the range. I could sail the HP13 with a 5.4 and 4.7 in that same range no problems. I'm not getting off the water easily in 10 but certainly going once off the water with no issue. Being a skilled pumper will help. If you have zero pumping skills, maybe a 6.5 and 5.0 will cover that but if you feel like you need three sails 6.5, 5.2, 4.5 maybe.

I agree w/ Paducah. I sail in a similar wind range and am a bit heavier. For all around sailing a 5.5-5.7 for light wind and a 4.5-4.7 can get you a long way. If you are trying to maximize range, I would go with more battens and more sail tension. A lot of guys here use freestyle or power wave sails for that reason. There are freestyle sails that have 5 battens, many have 4.

I just upgraded my V.1 Ezzy Hydras to the new Ezzy Cross and am super impressed with overall range and feel. He added a batten and made the boom baton full length and I think added tension in the top of the sail. Gives more range and control with the usual Ezzy adjustability. For me the 5.7 and 4.7 Crosses cover the 10-20kt range v well. I had the 4.0 out in gusty spring wind into the high 20s, and it was still v controllable.

7, 6.2, 5.4 and 4.8. 7 is new. I would like to replace the others ones. 7 freeride. The rest, wave sails.
