Which sails do you use with Sabfoil w1110?

Larger cambered sails like Foilglide or even foil race sail?
…or smaller wave/freestyle (and freeride foil) sail?

I tried EZZY Elite 5.3 in 12 kn (S430 Without shim , F1003K and 103 mast). Somewhat of a rollercoaster ride. Rising early, falling through early. Sail probably set too loose? Or this combo needs some shimming ?

Foilglide might work better?

Good question: I think I tried more of a freerace sail but it was a long long time ago. Its got a good lowend though, so if i tried again I would probably go with more of a wave/freestyle sail. So thats completely unhelpful lol

Thanks, not unhelpful - but do you remember the use of race sail as traumatising, OK or even great?

When marketed as big / low wind brother of w1000/w800, I would expect Freerace sails to work well.

Then someone described it as easier to jibe than the w790, because of its glide. That made me assume that someone enjoyed it with wave/freeride sails.

I think you are right it is more suited to a freerace sail. It wasn't traumatizing at all. I guess I am wondering about how it would go with wave sails cause thats what I very much prefer. And recently I have been using the w1110 for parawing and its quite playful, so thinking it might be alright windfoiling with a wave sail. I never found high aspect foils easier to gybe, so not sure I relate to that comment about being easier to gybe than 790
