Another great video Gwen, impressive stuff, not a lot of wind to work with there, but that did not stop you

when the wind blows 8-9 knots on the water there is a ripple on the video I do not see

don't make me laugh 8-9 knots is not an extreme light wind. Here are 6-7 knots this is a real extreme light wind

Awesome job Gwen! We've been getting going in 6-7 knot winds here at altitude (6000 ft) with the Ezzy Hydras. Tons of technique is needed, but it's doable.

The guy who posted the video said (in the yourtube comments) it was 5-10. I'm assuming the 5 is where he wasn't planing. You are comparing someone pumping a 12 vs someone gliding on a 9. Big difference.

IndecentExposure, I'm a bit at altitude with the hot and humid summer air, it's pretty thin* but you are another whole level!

*Our density altitude in the summer can be 4500ft.

LOL. I was able to sail at 8500 ft in sub 8 knot winds and 95 degrees. One small puff is all you need sometimes! :)

I use a 9.0 Areotech FreeSpeed, Goya Bolt Pro 135L and an AFS Wind 95 foil with an 800F wing in 8-9 knots going a little down wind to get up, I weigh 190 lbs in gear.

In this video, there were 8-9 in the gusts which allowed to trigger the flight. We can keep flying in a weaker wind but not too long.
My weight is 100 kg ... below 8 knts, i can't fly !

Yeah, well, it's not legal here yet... Okay, back to windfoiling.
