I've been having some problems with my 7.0 sail, the foot of the sail is catching on my rear footstraps. A friend of mine has a very similar setup but does not have this issue at all. Same sail. Same foil, same distance from mast foot to the front bolt, and footstrap positions are almost the same. Mine is 1-2 cm further back. I think my straps are further back because I'm quite a bit lighter, so I need to move further back to balance the foil. A big difference is that he is about 6" / 15 cm taller than me. I'm fairly short at 165 cm. I think this geometry contributes to my issue. The only other thing I can think of is that having different amount of outhaul moves the center of force on the sail, which shifts where my harness lines go, which probably changes how much I'm raking the sail back.
If anyone can shed some light on what I can try to alleviate this, perhaps other people have had the same experience. Maybe I should try a +0.5 shim - if that shifts my center of mass forward, that would also shift the CoM of the sail.

try and move the sail mast foot backwards, that would keep the sail straighter...

I think I had that problem while back, used 2 cm more on extension

Putting aside the hitting the footstrap problem, how does the sail feel? I can think of a few things that'll help it, but changing them could very well upset the balance else where..,
how high do you have the boom? If its too high for your height then you end up putting too much down force through the harness lines. Especially if you're using a low hook harness. (Im short too, and found this out through trial and error).
mast foot (sail) back like others have said.
The other two are what you've mentioned less out haul/add lift by shimming more.
but all those changes can individually have an impact on how the sail behaves.
