I'm southamerican guy living in Australia
. I'm 27 and I'm a scuba instructor. But.. hey... I live in East Gippsland (Victoria) in front of the lakes and is death cold to go diving
... so I want to learn to windsurf.
I use to see world top windsurfers in Dahab - Egypt, diving in the red sea... so may be is time to learn.
Sorry for my ignorant questions, but I have no idea of
1st. What consist the basic Windsurf equipment and gear....?
2d. Who much I can expect to pay for this equipment second hand.
3rd. Can I learn by myself? Is that a silly idea?
4rd. Any place you recommend for going for a weekend to learn the basics (in Victoria?)
5. In case I love it... is there any career system in Windsurf... like instructor path, etc... (sorry, my diving instructor sense, loves to know all the ranks, levels, courses, etc.)
