Hey Revhead
where do you sail in the ACT? I have to go to Wagga Wagga soon, to be a grandmother and I will go crazy if I cant sail. Is Lake Albert the only option? No grandma jokes please

Ok, no grandma jokes.
Hi Suzy, I've never sailed near Wagga, but in Canberra its lake burley griffin, yarralumla bay. We get either NW or E winds, and its the same spot roughly. Easterlies come thru in summer late in the afternoon. Sounds like you'll be there for a while, hope it goes well. Also, we're about 3.5 hours drive from Wagga, and the wind is not reliable here so I'd recommend a trip only if the forecast is HUGE. If you make it, look for the fella doing double forwards off the chop, I'll be the one breaking his legs after! Seriously, look for a black ute, then me on a hypersonic or AHD wave board.

And will probably be doing suicidal jumps in ankle deep water...

Hahahahahahaha, yes, hmmm, it was an opportunity I had to take given the lack of jumping opportunities that day. At least there are no big windsurfer gobbling beasts in the lake!

Great, thanks Revhead. I will definitely keep an eye on the forecast. If I get really desperate 3.5 hours would be worth it. I would be the one that looks like a grandma. Suzy
