august is a windy month in this area, the wind will be mostly westerly and can blow 30 to 40kts no problem. Westerly wind will be side-side off starboard tack and there is always some sort of swell. There are no local sailors but a crew of newcastle sailors will be there if its on most weekends.
Wish it was a busload of crew. But queenslander's have only just learnt of wavesailing comps. Teaching them to drive is a different thing. Should be a few of us though. losing some to the snow that weekend.
qwerty who are you? birubi is good even if there isnt wind but there always is and doogs is gunna make a retirement come back to show us all how a windsurfing comp is sposed to be done!!!!!

Curac. Should have been there buddy. Sunday was a bit fuzzy, but all the good bits of windsurfing and partying happenned. Cant wait to see the report and pictures. It was really good fun to stack and pop up to see 50 of your closest friends doing something similar.
Rosey, Peto is a very talented man and can do two things at once. One particular example comes to mind. I just hope he doesn't mistake one for the other one day. And don't ask him to prepare food for you!
