While on the nostalgia trip with the Bombora New Toy...... any one remember the original camel like board with the banana nose and the two kanga cocks?

aah the dromedary..... was only a young un but we strapped a mates sea skip rig onto it and it was slowwwwww..... so slow and so unable to turn for fun I decided to find a rock slice my foot open and add to the bombora colour range terrible board but Bombora redeemed themselves with the fantastic tri fin in a range of eighties bright colours....much better than exocets post modern black
The dromaderry was my first board, big round tail with a hump in between the footsraps. Two fin boxes underneath, one midway along and one at the tail. Huge spin ot probs. As far as i know it was released well before the Trifin. Taught me heaps so I could step into a top of the line board, a Tyronsea Stinger! I think Scott O'connor was responsible for the Stinger.
with baited breath we opened the tape and cardboard off the much awaited offshoot of the aussie windsurfing manufacturer and it revealed the "bombora dromedary"..................................................................................."hey corrie, what is this flexy uneven heavy piece of junk?!?!"
"well ian, it's the flagship for the new bombora brand!".........................custom manufacturers dominated the small high performance wave market in australia from that moment on till the late nineties.
