Junior
Best place to catch a train to is to Newcastle. But u can take only limited luggage.
But u would b better off flying from the Goldie or Brissie.
Virgin has cheap fares to Newcastle(Williamtown).
The airport is only 25mins from Birubi(Anna Bay).
Go to Virgin website and check prices .They have specials between 12 noon to 1pm. Could be cheaper than driving???
Warning - dont fly Jetstar as they slug u for excess luggage.
Hope to see u guys down here.

50 bucks a night for basic cabin with shared trap and shower. They haven't heard from the comp organisers so there isn't a deal on (except the deal they already have on the website). They're getting quite busy so it's worth getting in quick.

Cool. Should be a big QLD turnout. I've heard of 6 or 7 Queenslanders going into the Deep Freeze of Birubi Great White Nursery.

Been a couple of westerly blows happening at Birubi already.
Wednesday and Thursday were solid 25 - 30 knots but alittle too much south in it to be real good (too onshore).
The swell was muchous big as well.
Plenty of whale action as they head north for Winter... and the water is cold enough for the Whites that bite to be around!

Should be a great comp

i was told that the sharks have had a good feed on a whale that died and washed up on dicko so you shouldn't have to worry about them right now

Hi Padi.
A one way trip for the boards? We should be able to help somehow. Give me a call on 04 1997 2005. My car is pretty full but nothing is impossible.

Im happy to pay $100 mate. Was going to send it down when I fly down the following week anyway. Jetstar dont take anything over 2m, so had to send it by freight, which would cost $83 airport to airport. I can get board down to you at the goldie. Will call to arrange. What day you leaving? You goin same time as Curac/Junior F?

Which website can I find more details on this comp please?

Also is there anyone else driving down from Qld who can take 1-2 boards for me (happy to pay $100 to contribute towards fuel). One way trip for the boards and they will be collected from you at Buirbi. Ian and Andy might be a bit pushed for space at present.

Thanks all.
