Anyone sailed here? and is it very good for a beginner wavesailor?
Might be holidaying up there early next year.

drive down to lennox head, good crowd, better swell and no wrecks. also the winds a better condition. tallows isn't to bad but i'd still rate lennox. you end up launching near the surf club near the lake.

also while your there the book shop in nimbin, you know what i'm talking about. make your sailing much smoother and relaxed like. but careful on his cookies if your a rook

Flat rock is a great spot to sail in S and SE winds. Its 2 beaches south of Lennox. If you like to play in swell and do some backside riding, the Pass in Byron is quite a good spot to get into wavesailing, particularly if its big...You might be the only guy out there though, whereby there always seems to be someone sailing in Lennox or Flat Rock depending on the direction.
