OK, it's been long enough. We really ought to stick to a weekly timeframe, but bugger it...somebody's getting a cup for Christmas! And the honour of hosting the historic 50th caption comp!
The finalists are:
Richiefish - for inspired use of Batman, the Batboat, nice image alteration, etc...too many good ones to mention
Knot Board - "After his hip replacement Greenroom caught less barrels but still kept the vibe."
Bender - "Elmo finally worked out how to stay dry while gybing"
Wet Willy, (hey, that's me) for "Laird Hamilton, age 107, attempts to revive the ancient Hawaiian art of 'sit down paddle surfing' " - yes, but I'm not going to win this one, dammit...
