I used to sail Crazy waves every chance I got in winter when I lived in Perth (3-10 yrs ago).... loved it. Every time I go to Perth in winter I take my gear hoping for a big big Crazies day.

Was very annoyed when I saw the Coogee marina development on the drawing board. Windsurfing WA opposed it due to the environmental impact reports saying that the marina would change the normal flow of sand in the area. Thus the sandbank could disappear completely.

Now that the groyne has been constructed, has anyone noticed a change to Crazy Waves for winter just gone? Curious is all

I have only been sailing there for the past couple of winters and haven't noticed any difference from the first time i sailed there till now. Hopefully it won't get affected by the development,
