LG maybe gets better wind, and there is a bigger area of smooth. Weed here can be good some years, others almost non existent.

Albany has more consistent weed and flatter water in stronger winds, but get's good wind a bit less often. And is only very good in a limited wind direction.
My 2s, 5x10 and NM PBs were all done in Albany, my Alpha in Mandurah, my distance and hour at LG

But Albany has extremely abrasive weed, tears the leading edge up from base to tip.
