Also the guy I got it from can't find the daggerboard, so if anyone has one they no longer need it would be appreciated as it looks to be a time consuming job to make one from the fuzzy pictures on the web.

This is NOT a Dufour Wing daggerboard don't buy it , wiil not fit !

as far as the scale on the daggerboard diagram ...
it was not I who drew it
looks like each square is 2 cm
measure the opening and that is how wide the dagger was
at it widest point

Sometimes those older boards can get really brittle so be cautious on your first few sessions. I remember being given an old wally which I had to find a centreboard for. When I rigged up at the beach and pushed the centreboard in, the whole case and a chunk of the bottom broke off.

Yeah, can be a bit brittle.

This one had some pre existing damage to the centre board box.

This was my first sail on it after a 3 hour round trip to pick it up.
It was gifted to me, so no complaints.

It was a laugh when it happened. Stood on it and heard a crack. Next moment I am attempting a Jean Claude Van Damme type split (unsuccessfully), one foot either side as the two ends part ways.

Gave a couple of spectators on the beach a giggle too.
