Write down what the forecast says. Write down what Seabreeze says.
Check back after the event and see who's right.
I've done this a number of times, and seabreeze has won 90% of the time... of course that doesn't count the blind optimism that you have to have to be a windsurfer, so take this with a big grain of salt.
there are a few computer models that can be used....
gfs in the US. BOM here in OZ ecmwf in europe jma in japan.
they are all linked and share data to give us weather predictions. i think that the bom use the jma satelites????.

my experience is that seabreeze is on the money most of the time so i trust it pretty much always.
although in summer the bom is better for the localised seabreeze predictions on moreton bay. when ever i see seabreeze go red, yellow and from every direction it indicates to me we are in for a seabreeze so i check the bom.
for longrange forecast (2 weeks) gfs is good. ecmwf seems good for cyclones and east coast lows.
