Have had my new goya sails for only about a month now but have now had a chance to post a review on them for those who are unfamiliar.
(I love new toys

)
The goya brand is new to the windsurfing market and has been created by world wave champion Fransisco Goya.
Ive used the goya wave 5.7 in conditions ranging from very light sub planning <15knots up to fresh breezes of up to 25knots. I have found the goya sail to be incredibly stable in gusty and strong winds with the sails centre of effort moving very little if at all. In saying this I can use my 5.7 and 5.0 without even having to change the harness line positions. The top end control of these sails is the best i have ever experienced on a wave sail, race sail like control and speed on a wave sail

. The short boom length offers a different type of feel to the gaastra sails i have been using in the past years, cant point upwind aswell but is faster more agile and much better for bottom turning without dragging your boom behind on the wave face.
The goyas are fantastic in strong winds and are also great in lighter winds aswell. The larger sails have more shaping then the smaller ones so they are much more powerfull. The only draw back in the light wind department is that for the sail to feel at its best it must have adequate down haul, less down haul turns it into an incredibly powerful sail but looses its control and light feeling which is what makes the Goya different from the others. Much better to play with the outhaul on this one for light wind tuning.
As far as construction goes this sail has got it too, all monofilm is reinforced similar to the way the ezzy wave SE's are put together.
The sails are simple no BLING BLING

but have enough visual stuff to make them look great on the water too without sacrificing weight.
Would be great to hear anybody elses reviews on the Goyas?
