the reason it looks like you guys are getting more wind is because of the southerlies , i guess you could say the wind gods have been looking after you , the southerlies tend to be 5knts less at pt perp than the airport and nth coast, " after saying that " they arrive 3 hrs earlier at pt perp and most of the time its a bit late for you guys to sail even if theres more wind
sanctuary point is also probably one of the best places to sail in nsw, water is shallow for about 500mt so you can stand up if you dump your gear, but its 1 NM across for some good long runs , you don't need a weed fin unless you want to sail behind the weed bed ,
