Year I know, I cheated a bit, count the stars in the original post...

Over this side of the country any time I see a sail zipping across the water it makes me happy. Sailing with others is great, you see what people are up to and I love seeing new faces at the spots I go to.

Maybe there are just more windsurfers over that side of the country?

With my company just picking up some Ravensthorpe work I've already told my boss I won't be able to fit anyone else in my company car due to it being chockers with the necessities of life for a diversion down to Espy.

Like I said before, you live in a very special part of the world.

Hardie Hey trust me it is just as bad down here. The wave is often a short section and more than 10 ppl out is a handful. When the euro's lob in it can be downright scary...... we are more than happy to share waves if they'd at least say G'day and also realise that if you give a bloke a wave he'll give you one 5 min later. It was no probs till 3 or 4 years ago but like anywhere it gets busier.
Dunno about you haveing no good spots. I used to sail the place now and then that sounds like a Toyota or a bird and it can be pretty damned fine.

Elmo let me know when you do come down. Even if you are short on gear due to space restrictions, may be able to help out.
