I've used ripcurl reefer booties, you'll get a couple of years from them but I prefer bare feet most of the time.

Okespor in France has been back up and running for some years now. www.okespor.com I live in the US and have had prompt replies to emails and good service on orders. I've ordered from them about 3-4 times and have been pleased. The Catfish Low model has been redesigned from previously and is more robust and comfortable than the old ones and the instep strap is more sturdy than the old ones, which used to fold up and split . They are a tiny bit larger than years ago, but much better made. I'm size mens 10.5 in the US and their 44 fits fine. My partner uses the Catfish High and likes those as well. She's US womens 8 and takes a 39/44. They also are a hair big, but the next size down was too snug.

Atan, French, does the thinnest booties I can find. Closest to barefoot. Latex all around so slips in and out of straps nice. So thin probably wont last long if walked around on ground, but not expensive.
for hat I use Wip bump cap, has a peak, ear cover, and a little reinforced head protection.

The statement "once you get used to booties..." is important... some people cannot, but if you can then it opens up the idea that reef-cuts and footstrap-wear are no longer something that occurs.
The main requirement for booties - they must have the split-toe... without the split, the bootie moves around on your foot. If the underside of the sole is fully connected, that is a bonus.
