The lack of wind is driving me bananas. The high pressure systems are dominating our weather big time. I can’t remember the last couple of years being like this.
Does anyone have the stats on prior year sailable days in winter in Perth. That is, on average, how many days blew over 18 knots NW or SW in June, July and August (Sep, Oct would be great but not necessary).

Autumn and spring are usually the doldrums, and Winter has the odd storm, can easily go a few weeks between them.
But I don't remember sailable easterlies this time of year, that's more like February.

Agh yes unusual it is. But not long now and I see a lot of wind coming from the ocean, the wind will be cold, strong and the sky will be dark.

Your not the only one going Bananas Gonewindsurfing247! Here in Adelaide we have not seen wind over 15 knots for about 2 weeks. We have had a better winter this year though.
Last winter we missed out on a lot of the low pressure systems due to slow moving highs.
The green arrows must be on there way soon. Lets hope!

Is that dark as in night or day with heavy cloud cover.
I think it's a rag not a towel.
I once had a prickly crown on my head, stopped wearing it, found it a bit itchy.
