I know this is a bit premature, but what you think about sailing Kirra on Sunday during the nw-northerly, and Shearwater Monday during the southerly? Tide is good at shearwater for Monday

Those arrows have a tendency to move in the four days or so between prediction and reality, but if they're still pointing the same way come Sunday I'll be there as well

Can't wait to try Kirra again, got a score to settle with that break, my 5.7 has a lot more 'character' than it used to have due to a particularly lumpy wave there...

...those green arrows are only there to provide you with something to look forward to at the end of the week...but have you noticed that you never get to the end of the week...yes, we are just mice in some sort of weird experiment.

i'm keen for kirra but
neil pryde has invited me to new caledonia with a few other salesman types and shop owners and i noticed on the long range forecast that the wind looks dodgy so can anyone tell me whether i should go or give the plane tickets to haircut 4000 or junior freestyle or just go and put up with a windless tropical french place.
dilemma.

Wind just got stronger on the forecast

Looking NE for Saturday at the moment, is this OK for Kirra? Do you sail NW out in the direction of Currumbin in this wind direction? Of course things might change in the next day or so but it's looking good at the moment.

No matter what direction it comes from it looks like there's definitely some unsettled air around anyway

Nebs - Ne is a little too east, Still sailable but. When it goes too east, the wind usually dies off and it increases up the north end at the train. If it's very north, Kirra is usually stronger. If it is NE, maybe the train will be the go.

How do u guys feel about redcliff on saturday instead, stay there overnight, and sail wello sunday?

Hey Eggs,

I have to go up to Southport so will have to postpone the Lennox/Byron trip, would have loved to have gone though. I'm glad I'm finally getting rid of some of my kookyness so can go out in the waves

Windy Bum, it's all to do with a big low pressure system wandering around. Certainly not something Huey makes a habit of hey?

Soooo... anyone else going to the train? I've never been there in a NE

Sailed Artificail reef today with a 6.7m.Bit like driving a semi trailer after Maui and 4.7-5.2 but still a sail in anything but flat water.I seem to be the only poley amoungst the teabags there .The train was hopeless and yet it was sailable on the sea.

hi guys,

does anyone want to write a locations review for the windwnaderers website. in particular gold coast spots. i'm starting to put some stuff together that will hopefully provide a complete guide to sailing spots from brisbane to noosa.

check out http://www.windwanderers.com/website/Locations.html

i have already covered the caloundra bar, suttons beach, Victoria Point and wellington point.

cheers
