I see there is a 7.5sqm kitewing on the firebee site. A 7.5m sail is pretty large, but a 7.5m kite is pretty small...
On land a 5.5m Kitewing gets you airborne in 17 knots, 25 knots and it's super fun!
On the water with the Wave Warrior (7.5m) you need 20knots up to 35 and you'll still be fine. If in trouble, simply let go....you'll never ever get dragged.
The 7.5m is large, but surprisingly easy to handle. When the wind is on it will just sit above your head (like an obedient eagle) with little effort to steady. When you want to get going all you need do is pull the back of the kite down (sheeting in) then your away, if your going too fast, sheet out a little, easy as. I kitesurf as well, the kitewing is much easier to learn. But i still loooove kitesurfing.
