Looking at your profile you are the last person that should be bagging people about fashion.

Now that is just rude.

I actually thought he looked quite stylish.
That's why I took the photo.

"The past is in your head,THE FUTURES IN OUR HANDS" Quoted from The Living End.Thats an aussie band for all you old pole dancers
I guess I will be angry too when Im old and my sport is only done by grannys and found in history books.

I shouldnt talk too loud, one day I will be old too and be complaining about what all the young whipper snappers are wearing!!!! and how in my day we use to kitesurf and it was sooo much better than these new hover board thinga ma jigs that they are riding now in 2050.

"THE PAST IS IN YOUR HEAD, THE FUTURES IN OUR HAND" not much you can do about it. Ha Ha He He He Ha You guys probably thought the same about the old gumps whinging about young people, when you were young many moons ago, and thought to your self "Im never gunna be like that" Arrr the cycle of life

Lotofwind, a lot of what you say is true.
We all did stupid things when we where young, it's just amusing to see young people doing exactly the same sort of stuff, i.e. slaving to fashion, (sometimes looking ridiculous) out of a desire to be "in' and "cool".
Once you get to my age you look back on all that stuff with a different perspective.
And yeah there's always those oldies who don't seem to remember their own youth, and can't relate to the new generation.

All I can say, is go for it have fun, but try and keep some respect for the earlier generation, with out them you wouldn't be here.
And as you say, you'll end up like that yourself.
But I think the longer you can hang on to a youngish life style, the later that will happen.
Grannies windsurfing is great, keeps them out of the old peoples homes!

When I started windsurfing I couldn't bend my pole
20 years later I can bend it easily
so I must be getting stronger!!!!

I never intended to start another kiter/windsurfer war

I just thought it was a funny photo the chronic posters on this forum might enjoy
(didn't realise there were so many kiters reading the windsurfing forum - no offense intended)

I can't believe nobody has photoshopped a kite bar into his hand yet.

On the subject of age...
The average age of windsurfers in my household is 24! not 64 as would be implied by some of these comments
And I hope you are still kitesurfing when you are a grandma!

love to all kiters and windsurfers
companions on the water
