Planning one more Greece trip this season and torn between Kos and Rhodes for a week of wind-driven sailing and some light freediving. Kos sounds ideal for the flat-water spots on the north side, but Rhodes seems to have more variety if the Meltemi takes a break.
Logistics question: on Kos I'd rent a car to chase the wind between spots — kos-car-rental.com at the airport looks reasonable, has anyone used them or know if one-way drop at Kardamena is possible? Any input appreciated, especially on which island handles late-September wind better.
