It was fun on Friday, about 15knots north east and waist high waves. Sunday had wind after lunch, enough to get some jumps but straight onshore so hard to waveride.

1st Ricky van de torn
2nd Matt Holder
3rd Mick Westra
4th Tim White
5th Dean Hendrie
6th Jason Pike

Pretty fun weekend with big crowds at the pub each night.

Yeah I went down for the weekend. Lots of people but more posing than a body building comp. Maybe I just met the wrong people, but the vibe wasnt friendly, it was more pretentious. The chair sailors were in full force.

Didnt see any kiter v sailor problems, and we had to share the same water. Saw 2 broken kiter arms! No wonder, so many of them were kiting within a couple of metres of hard sand.

The judging didnt seem to be systematic at all, it was just who at the end of the 4 days the judgers thought was best.

Lots of effort in the organising, to their credit. But its not my scene.

Hey Revhead, I thought you'd fit in with your lowered, shiney black ute and nice alloys [}:)]

Doesn't sound great, much the same reason as to why I never go to Bondi! How'd you get on?

G'day Crash,
Nah my ute didnt fit it! Heard people talking about it, but I didnt have 5 boards, 14 kite boards and 10 kites shoved in the back, and I wasnt standing at the back of it with my arms folded staring at everyone else all weekend.

As far as actual sailing went, it was sloppy onshore and i hate sloppy onshore, so I did pretty badly, and I was underpowered (until i got back in the ute [}:)][}:)]) So i'm wishing myself better luck at Wanda
You goin to the celebration day?
