I sailed Wanda today (with the rest of Sydney: awesome conditions) and decided to blast across to Merrys Reef to check it out. It wasn't breaking but I've always been curious about sailing it. It looks like it has awesome potential in the right conditions.
Does anyone ever sail Merrys reef?

i saw some dude way way way out back and think he was on a pryde
i spoke to a local on saturday who said in high tide it is pretty good
not to sure though...

Yeah - that was me. I love long ocean runs.
Next time the conditions are right I'll sail back out there, including the high tide.
