Hi Just wondering if anyone got out at Mooloolaba yesterday? Thought I could see a few kites but didnt spot any windsurfers. Left work at 2.30pm and could see the whitecaps in the distance and BOM said 17-20. Would have loved to have got out, but other commitments with kids. Have my free pass organized for today so hope there is some wind left! Its been so long since my last sail.

Yes, Friday was pretty good. There were half a dozen windsurfers & 3 or 4 kites out in the afternoon. Wind was NNE at 14 - 16 kts. A 5.7 to 6.5 sqm was plenty.
Saturday was great too, but not quite as strong.

I thought Friday looked better than saturday. I got out at on Saturday at Caloundra for a while and had a great afternoon. Went out at Mooloolaba today was the only one out. Managed about 6 good runs then a few ordinary runs and then the wind stopped altogether. Just glad to get out 2 days in a row!
