Looks like standard thruster set up? The hard rails might be accentuated by the light/shadow and also some contrast touch ups by photographer, I saw another shot of probably same jump where the hard edge doesn't look to be as extreme or as far forward...but as it's Robby who knows!

Could be more of a blasting board than a wave board. Robby jumps with anything !

Looks like photo shop to me, his feet are facing the wrong way for how he is aligned, and the slant the back of the board is on doesn't quite look like it matches the front of the board?

I could be wrong though, Robby's an awesome rider....

Clive,
Make that two - just stand and pretend you're holding your boom. Now twist your body around and hey presto have a look at the backs of your knees. It's not photoshopped! Go and google windsurf tabletop vid or images and look what the rider's body does.

There's a video of this shot on Ben's latest training diaries.

That line is not horizontal, which helps the illusions Micheal..

Very handy to be able to twist your waist like that. No need for a mirror when checking your hemeroids

Well there ya go....

He's quite the contortionist, there's a lot of twist at the waist going on there!

Robby's the man !

lol have you people never seen a tabletop before? What must you think of freestyle moves!
Got to say I hate the way the word 'photoshop' is used these days. Nearly every single semi/pro photographer uses digital these days and usually shoots in RAW format. This means they are their own development lab, so every single image MUST BE PHOTOSHOPPED, Lightroomed whatevered to 'digitally develop' it so it is properly usable. Yes the first image has probably been processed through photoshop for contrast, sharpening etc but it has not been manipulated. Look up things like perspective, forced perspective, lens distortion, zoom compression - all these can affect the way an image capture can alter what we expect to see, no pshop necessary.
So...now go forth and use 'digitally altered/manipulated' instead of befouling the wonderful thing that is photoshop ;)
