Dear WWA Members and Fellow Windsurfers,

Windsurfing Western Australia would like to say welcome to the 2004/2005 season. As you'd expect, we've been working hard behind the scenes to put together an exciting summer of events from "Have a Go" Days, to Parties, to National Wave and Slalom Championships.
We are about to release the official dates for the 2004/05.

Unfortunately we haven't had any luck with the Windshack Phone-In events - this, our last available weekend (17th and 18th of July)is officially cancelled with the forecast being for light NE winds. A shame after all the prep. Thanks to all those who showed interest.

Our next event is not so hit and miss - It'll be huge....
It's our season opener party at Nedlands Yacht Club on the 6th of November. All are welcome but it's cheaper for members. Watch this space for details. We've got a humungous mail-out coming up so if you download and send in a membership form now, you'll start getting value for money ASAP.

We may run a few more casual events in the remainder of winter so keep watch for updates.

Looking forward to Summer.....

Regards
Dan Engdahl

BOM Forcast:
Friday: NW'ly winds 25/33 knots shifting SW'ly 25/33 knots in the morning with squalls to 50 knots. S/SW winds 20/30 knots during the afternoon easing inshore to 15/20 knots in the evening.

W/E SW winds 10/15 knots

Any chance of a change to friday for the speed.....

SW is too onshore for speed. Needs to be NNW or SSW...

Monday looks good too. Always the way- fantastic wind either side of comp dates.

A bit sceptical about the BOMs prediction of SSW (+windy)in the afternoon.

By the time it gets around that far it will probably be dead... I notice its already dropping at rotto, and still very much westerly :(

Fingers crossed- the day is just passing its mid-life crisis.

Is the Windsurfing WA page down at the moment or is it just my computer playing up?

Thanks

Looks like this weekend is unlikely to bring favourable conditions (again) but watch this space or ring in on Friday for the update. We've got one more weekend up our sleeve if this one doesn't happen. Keep you posted

It's Friday Afternoon and the forecast looks pretty ordinary once again. Both events are hereby postponed to our final available weekend - the 17th and 18th of July. With Huey's cooperation we hope to see you there.
