Hey it's good to see some Events organised for this summer around Perth.
Next Sunday the 7th we have a Downwinder from Point Walter to Pelican Point, which should be fun, i've been doing some freeride stuff on the river the last few weeks and would be great to have a stack of guys to do it with. Will be good training for Lano too.
Then there is a Summer Twilight Series at Pelican point set to start soon. This Sounds like a fun Series, even have light wind options, the SUP light wind sailing sounds fun, almost like a flash back to the old windsurfer one design style of racing. And the no wind SUP racing sounds interesting.
I'm no speed racer but have realy been enjoying blasting around in the lighter days on big gear, so i'm going along and would love to have some more freeride sailors to have a friendly race against.[}:)]
P.S i found the Info in the Events section and this has all the details like times etc..

I heard there is a "how many kiters you can shoot with your slug gun from the bushes" competition at Safety Bay on the weekend.

Great stuff organisers!
Let's hope there is a big fleet so more of this stuff can be encouraged!
